 VOLUNTEER

WBARC is always looking for volunteers to help with the various stages of rescue, such as providing transportation to and from the vet, pet sitting, supplies pick up and more. If you love animals and think you would make a good fit, please contact us for a meet and greet!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Love of all animals!

  • Personable and good communication skills (online and in person)

  • Ability to work effectively with a small team and being able to complete tasks individually when needed

  • ​Valid drivers license to be able to do home visits, animal pick ups and drop offs, and airport runs

  • Basic understanding of computer skills: google drive, Microsoft Office (word & excel), email and social media (Facebook)

  • Must reside in the community of Wood Buffalo

  • Experience with fundraising or small business operations is considered an asset

DONATIONS

Every donation helps WBARC provide food, veterinary care, supplies and everything our animals need while they wait for their forever homes. Gently used items are welcome! We kindly ask all donated items be clean and in good usable condition so they are ready to go directly to the animals in need.
