She may only be 6 months old, but this sweet girl has already had quite the journey. Born in our care, adopted into what we hoped would be her forever home, and now back with us through no fault of her own — she’s searching once again for the family she truly deserves.
Nutmegs foster family describes her as calm, gentle, sweet, and the biggest love bug once she feels safe. She has a soft soul and loves being close to her people. But the world can feel like a very scary place to her right now. New things, unfamiliar sounds, and sudden changes can make her nervous, and she’s still learning that she doesn’t have to be afraid.
What she needs most is a patient, loving family willing to move at her pace and show her that she is safe, protected, and deeply loved. Someone who understands that building confidence takes time, kindness, and reassurance. In return, she’ll give you the purest kind of love — the kind that comes from a dog who learns to trust you with her whole heart.
Underneath her fear is an incredibly loving puppy just waiting to blossom. With the right home, we know she will continue to grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be.
